Mammootty and Amal Neerad to team up for a Netflix film?
There is a strong buzz going around that Mammootty and Amal Neerad will working together in a new film before they join hands for ‘Bilal’, the much-hyped sequel to ‘Big B’. It is said that the actor-director duo’s new film is being made for streaming giant, Netflix. Actor Soubin Shahir has also hinted that he is acting in this film. An official confirmation is eagerly awaited.
‘Bilal’ shoot was supposed to begin last March but due to the pandemic situation, they had to put things on hold. Ever since then, Mammootty has mostly been at his home comfort. Though Malayalam film industry has started functioning in full swing with safety protocols being strictly followed at all locations, Mammootty is yet to resume shoot.
Photos of his stylish new look from his brief appearance in a recent wedding reception had gone viral in social medias. Fans are waiting to see if it is the same look that he will be sporting for Amal Neerad’s new film. The superstar has also committed for a film to be helmed by debutante Ratheena Sharshad. It is scripted by ‘Unda’ fame Harshad and Suhas-Sharfu, the writers of ‘Varathan’.
