Mammootty and Mohanlal plays police officer and college professor simultaneously
For a while the Baahubali storm had hit the Mollywood industries, majority of the films released recently got unnoticed. Dulquer Salmaan’s CIA aka Comrade in America and Kunchacko Boban starrer Ramante Edenthottam had made a minute hype.
The biggies in M-Town are now gearing up to hit screens with two different character getups. Mammootty is reportedly shooting simultaneously for Shamdat Sainudeen’s debut directorial Streetlights and Ajai Vasudev’s movie. The megastar is seen as a college professor named Eddy in the Ajai Vasudev movie and as a police officer for Shamdat’s directorial.
Same is seen in the case of Mohanlal; he will be playing college vice principal Michael Idikkula for his first movie with Lal Jose which is all set to begin shoot on May 17th. He is doing the flick due to the one month break from his B Unnikrishnan movie Villain which begins it’s final schedule by June. He plays ex-cop Mathew Manjooran for the B Unnikrishnan crime thriller.
All four movies the stars have committed includes stellar casts and brilliant crew members. Villain directed by B Unnikrishnan is the first movie in the country to be shot completely in 8K resolution.
Mammootty’s campus movie directed by Ajai Vasudev progresses shooting in the Fatima Matha College, Kollam while Mohanlal’s is all set to kick start in St. Xavier’s College, Trivandrum.
