Mammootty is Mr. Perfect for Arya
Mammootty-Haneef Adeni movie The Great Father even after its 11th day at box office is still getting in good reports and making it move. The catchy making style in an usual and old storyline has made the audience sit at the verge of their seats in theaters. Though there is nothing new to boast for in the storyline, the director has placed the sequences pretty decently. Mammootty’s stylish avatar and his mass appeal is the USP of the movie. The Great Father once again proved the scarcity of good stories in Malayalam cinema.
Recently, Arya, who had done a pivotal role alongside Mammootty in the film opened his mind to an online news portal. He said “Acting alongside Mammukka was an amazing feeling. I felt that I have had an experience for more than 10 years in this industry while acting in a single flick. To me he is the perfect gentleman, a man who is very friendly to everybody at sets. I also had the grace to interact with him every now and then. He gives much importance to his health and is always fit as a fiddle”
The Great Father has registered a whopping Rs 4.31 cr rupees from the opening day. The record for highest first day grosser in Kerala was held by superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, which had raked in Rs 4.20 crores followed by Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan with 4.05 crores.
The actor is currently busy with the promotion of his next Tamil movie Kadamban in which he plays the title character. Dubai born Malayalee Catherine Theresa plays the lead heroine in the movie.
