Manamantha : Mohanlal just made us all stood wonderstruck with his performance, says Chandra Sekhar Yeleti
The teaser of much awaited film named Manamantha had released on last Friday. The film is coming in Malayalam with the title Vismayam and the man who is playing the lead in it is indeed the living wonder in Indian cinema. Yes, we are talking about Mohanlal, The Complete Actor in India who is all set to make his mark in Tollywood as well with two Telugu films.
Manamantha aka Vismayam had directed by Chandra Sekhar Yeleti and he is a national award winning director. When asked about his experience with Mohanlal, the finest in our country, he said that Mohanlal had just amazed and make all of them stood wonderstruck with his unbelievable performance.
Chandra Sekhar Yeleti said that he chose Mohanlal to play the lead for two reasons. First reason is that he is a great fan of Mohanlal and really longed to work with him. The second reason is that the lead character in this film needs an actor who can give 100% perfection in emotional scenes and at the same time look utmost natural in performance. Only Mohanlal can give both this aspect in Indian Cinema.
He said that Mohanlal still possess the child like curiosity when he is in front of the camera and he is the epitome of humility. Chandra Sekhar Yeleti remembers one scene which made him aware of the confidence Mohanlal had in his performance. In a scene that shot in a railway station, Mohanlal gave an expression for the character. But Chandra Sekhar Yeleti want Mohanlal to give more expression in that scene. Mohanlal said that in that situation in the story, the expression he had given was apt.
Even though Chandra Sekhar Yeleti was not satisfied with his reply, he let that go at that time. But when he saw that scene after dubbing in the studio on a big screen, he just stood stunned by seeing the perfection of that expression by Mohanlal. It was apt and there cannot be a better one other than that. He said that is why Mohanlal is so awesome and unbelievably terrific as an actor.
The whole crew is also amazed to see how well Mohanlal learned and dubbed the Telugu language fluently for this film. He had nailed it and his efforts to learn the language is really commendable.
