Mari Selvaraj’s new film ‘Vaazhai’ got launched today. Udhayanidhi Stalin, the lead actor of Mari’s upcoming film ‘Maamannan’, was the chief guest at the launch. It is presented by Disney Plus Hotstar and Navvi Studios.

Touted to be a rural drama, ‘Vaazhai’ has Nikhila Vimal and Kalaiyarasan as the leads. Dhivya Duraisamy and Priyanka Nair will also be seen in major roles. The film has Santhosh Narayanan as the cinematographer. It is his third film with Mari Selvaraj after ‘Pariyerum Perumal’ and ‘Karnan’. Theni Eswar, who worked with the director in ‘Karnan’ and the upcoming ‘Maamannan’, has been retained as the DOP. Suriya Pradhaman will he handling the edits.
