MG Sreekumar to play the lead in Shyamaprasad’s new film
Popular playback singer MG Sreekumar is set star in ace filmmaker Shyamaprasad’s new film. As per reports, it is a story about a 60-year-old singer and Sreekumar will be playing the lead role in it. Apparently, the movie is inspired from several of his own real life experiences. A two-time National award winning singer and music director, Sreekumar has sung in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films.
Being in front of camera is not knew for Sreekumar as he has been doing several TV shows over the years. Two years back, the veteran singer had also acted as in a short film named ‘M N Nambyiark Balan K Nairil Sambhavichath’. Apart from the Shyamaprasad film, Sreekumar is also starring in Kukku Surendran’s next film, ‘Ente Sathyanveshna Pareekshanangal’. It is being scripted by Shanker Ramakrishnan.
On the singing front, MG Sreekumar has lent his voice for a couple of tracks in the upcoming biggies ‘Ittymaani Made In China’ and ‘Marakkar Arabikadlinte Simham’.
