Stunt Silva says that he was very nervous while choreographing the fight moves for Mohanlal’s character Jayaraman, as this character is blind and he can only feel touch and sound. So, the moves must be convincing and at the same time have to create a punch.
But Priyadarshan was very clear about what he really wants and Mohanlal’s amazing body flexibility and experience really made that scene stunning. Silva amazed to see how well Mohanlal does stunt in this age and it was terrific from him. The kicks and punches from him were perfect and the rotation of him by giving the whole body weight to one finger of the leg was just fabulous.
He said that he had choreographed fight for many popular Kollywood Stars including Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and many more. But when it comes to fight, Mohanlal just stands at another level, says Silva. He had given the credit of the success of that fight sequence in Oppam to Mohanla and Priyadarshan and he says that he was only an assistant in that scene.
