Mohanlal’s “Empuraan” Commences Shooting in Delhi: First Schedule Underway.

In a grand cinematic endeavor, “Empuraan,” one of the most highly anticipated films in the Mollywood industry, embarked on its production journey in Delhi on October 5th. The initial schedule of this ambitious project is currently in full swing. Helmed by the talented director Prithviraj Sukumaran and scripted by the renowned wordsmith Murali Gopi, “Empuraan” promises to be a cinematic spectacle.

The first leg of filming will take place in the breathtaking landscapes of Ladakh, extending until the end of October. Subsequently, the second schedule is slated for February next year, adding to the anticipation surrounding this cinematic extravaganza.

“Empuraan” is the eagerly awaited second installment of a trilogy, with the first part, “Lucifer,” achieving unparalleled success in the annals of Mollywood. Notably, “Lucifer” marked the directorial debut of Prithviraj Sukumaran and stands as one of the few films in the industry to cross the 100-crore milestone.

The cast of “Empuraan” boasts a galaxy of stars, featuring the likes of Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Nyla Usha, and Arjun Das in pivotal roles. Furthermore, there has been fervent speculation surrounding the inclusion of prominent names such as Sanjay Dutt, SJ Suryah, and Rana Daggubati in the cast, although no official confirmation has been received.

Aashirvad Cinemas and Lyca Productions have joined forces to finance this monumental project, set to captivate audiences in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada languages.

The music for “Empuraan” will be composed by the maestro Deepak Dev, while the cinematography will be handled by the acclaimed Sujith Vasudev. The film is expected to conclude its extensive filming schedule by August next year, with shooting locations spanning six different countries.

“Empuraan” is a cinematic spectacle that promises to redefine the standards of Mollywood, and fans eagerly await its release.
