The Premam censor copy leak and piracy issue had come to an end as per reports as the Anti-Piracy cell had arrested the people who leaked the censor copy and the culprits has been arrested today early morning. Anti-Piracy cell also informed the media that the Premam censor copy has leaked from Censor board as well. The arrested men are temporary workers at Censor board office and they are Arun Kumar, Nidhin from Nedumangadu and Kumaran from Kovalam.
Earlier Ani-Piracy cell had conducted many raids regarding this piracy issue of the film and seized many hard discs, DVD’s, Mobile phones etc as a part of the investigation process. They had send all those evidences for Forensic examination and as per the test result it has become evident that the censor copy had leaked out from censor board itself. The tests are still going on as per reports on the 32 hard discs, DVD’s and mobile phones that has been seized from the studios of Trivandrum, Kochi and Chennai where the post production and editing of the film had took place.
The print which spread all over had the water mark of censor copy on it and Anti- iracy cells has investigating from where that censor copy leaked and also from where that copy has been uploaded first. The investigation still going on even though it had reached almost in its last part as now they have to find from where it had uploaded first. Earlier they had arrested 3 students from Kollam for uploading the film on to some websites but police and Anti-Piracy cell thinks that before the students uploaded that print to a website the censor copy has been uploaded from somewhere else at various sites.
Anyway the issue which had made so much havoc in the Malayalam film industry had now seem to be on its way to its climax portion and we are still waiting to know who is the main villain behind this as Anti-Piracy cell had explained earlier that the main culprit was someone who is associated with the film itself and is said to be an editor or something like that.
