Ramayana Epic Set to start rolling in 2024: Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, and Sai Pallavi Team Up with Director Nitesh Tiwari.
Prepare for the grand cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana, scheduled to start rolling in 2024. According to the latest report, acclaimed director Nitesh Tiwari and his team are gearing up to commence this monumental trilogy in February 2024. Pinkvilla recently broke the news that the filming of the first installment of this trilogy is slated to take place from February to August 2024.
The illustrious Ranbir Kapoor will step into the central role of Lord Ram, while the talented South Indian actress Sai Pallavi is set to grace the screen as the beloved character Sita. Joining this stellar cast is none other than the sensational Rocking Star Yash, who will portray the formidable antagonist, Ravana.
Pinkvilla’s report reveals that Yash has allocated approximately 15 days for the first part of the film, where he will make an extended cameo appearance. However, he will take the lead in the second part of this trilogy, which will primarily delve into the story of Ravana. The third and final installment promises the ultimate showdown between Ram and Ravana.
The film’s production team has disclosed that the extensive VFX work for this epic will be entrusted to the Oscar Award-winning VFX team of DNEG. Their expertise will conjure a breathtaking world that is bound to captivate audiences.
Yash, meanwhile, has other commitments, including a project with acclaimed Mollywood director Geethu Mohandas. His portions for the first part of Ramayana will be filmed in July 2024.
