Sai Pallavi is the most popular heroine among Malayali youngsters right now and she achieved that status with only one film she had done so far named Premam which had become the second biggest blockbuster of Mollywood history below Drishyam. Along with Nivin Pauly who was the hero of the flick and Alphonse Puthren who conceived the flick, Sai Pallavi had become a trend in social Media and it went to a level in which her crazy fans started to ask that not to act in any other movies as they want to see her as Malar only.
Sai Pallavi said that she was quite overwhelmed by the love and respect she got from Mollywood and she said that she was quite unsure about her next character as well. It had to be as good as Malar or have to be better than that to satisfy the audience now who are crazily connected with the character Malar. She also said that she is a bit of scared to do the next film as she don’t really know what really people think of that role. She don’t know what will be in the mind of people as the identity of the character Malar has become a sort of her identity in front of them.
Sai Pallavi also spoke about the piracy issue in which Premam had fell in. She told that before she had acted in films she don’t much care about if she hears a news that a pirated print of a movie had come out or thinks that what is the big deal in it. But now she understood the magnitude of it as she had witnessed how much effort people puts in to the making of a film. Alphonse, Nivin Pauly and many others put their life and soul in to the making of the film Premam. She felt really bad after knowing about the leak of censor copy of the film.
Sai Pallavi told that she has planned nothing much about the future. She is an MBBS student and she had almost completed it. She will love to continue her dance and also acting if good characters like Malar comes her way.
