Recently, Kerala government had granted permission for post-production works of films to be completed. Dubbing and other post-production works for several films are already on in full swing. Recently, actress Santhy Balachandran dubbed for her portions in ‘Aaha’. The actress took to her social media handle to share the same. Spent the afternoon dubbing for @aahathemovie, and the energy levels were off the charts! The excitement we all felt today has left me with a happy high 😊 The entertainment industry has been hit hard by the pandemic and a lot of livelihoods are at stake. Despite the uncertainty we still face, there was a palpable sense of gratitude today. A huge note of thanks to everyone who has toiled day and night over the last couple of months and made it safe for us to resume work. We hope to bring our films to you once it is safe to. Till then, here’s wishing you all a safe and healthy lockdown!
‘Aaha’ is a sports flick that stars Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead. The film directed by debutant Bibin Paul Samuel is based on Kerala’s very own sport, ‘tug of war’ aka ‘vadamvali’. The story is inspired from a famous team ‘Aaha Neeloor’ hailing from Pala. The cast also includes Manoj K Jayan, Amit Chakalakkal and Ashwin K Kumar in major roles.
