Shahrukh Khan to play the lead in Anand L Rai film !
It is official now that Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan is all set to play the male lead in the upcoming film directed by none other than Anand L Rai. He is riding on the success of his film like Ranjhna with Dhanush and Sonam Kapoor and Tanu weds Manu returns with Madhavan and Kangana. The value of his effort is more and more appreciable when we know the fact that both those films entered the 100 crore club of Bollywood, without any leading star in Bollywood playing the lead in it. Dhanush was doing his first Hindi film and it was Ranjhna for you. Madhavan is not a super star in Bollywood. He came in films more of as a supporting actor. But making him the lead actor, Anand L Rai had delivered a super success like Tanu weds Manu returns.
Now, everybody looking forward to see what kind of magic he creates after getting the Super star of Bollywood, Mr. Sharukh Khan on board this time with him. He said that Shahrukh Khan was very happy to hear the story and Anand said that Shahrukh Khan is a brave actor and one who works very intelligently as well. They both have many common likings and that will be seen in their film too. Both loves challenges and both love fun. Anand said that Shahrukh Khan always makes one feel important and responsible and fun of working with him lies there.
Anand L Rai said that Shahrukh Khan is playing a dwarf in his upcoming film and more than a story of dwarf, it will have a big canvas and will tell a beautiful love story as well. He said that the film will have great songs and romance etc as well and it will be a complete romantic entertainer. Shahrukh Khan was indeed going through a lean patch as his recent films not done very much good. His Dilwale was failure at box office an before that his film Happy New Year was criticized heavily by critics and to an extent, common audience.
Two films are coming from him this year. One is Fan, which will hit the screens on this April 15 and then Raees, which said to be an Eid release.
