Shammy Thilakan and Baburaj to play important roles in Dileesh Pothan-Fahahdh Faasil film, Joji
Shoot for Fahadh Faasil’s new film ‘Joji’ with director Dileesh Pothan is currently progressing. Syam Pushkaran is scripting the film, which is inspired from Willaim Shakespeare’s famous play, ‘Macbeth’. As per the makers, it is an independent adaptation that is set in the modern era.
Along with Fahadh, the film also has veteran actors Shammy Thilakan and Baburaj in important roles. Shammy, a highly talented actor, has not been very active in the industry of late. ‘Joji’ is expected to give him the much needed comeback. Unnimaya Prasad, who delivered an impressive performance in ‘Anjaam Pathiraa’, is also essaying a major role.
Expectations are high on ‘Joji’ as the trio of Fahadh, Pothan and Pushkaran have high reputation among Malayali cinephiles. Shyju Khalid handles the camera in the film and music is by Justin Varghese of ‘Njandukalude Naatil Oridavela’ and ‘Thaneer Mathan Dhinangal’ fame. Editor Kiran Das, costume designer Mashar Hamsa, production designer Gokul Das and make up artist Ronex Xavier form the core technical crew.
‘Joji’ is funded by Dileesh Pothan-Syam Pushkaran duo’s production company, Working Class along with Fahadh’s banner, Fahadh Faasil And Friends.
