Shoot postponed for Dulquer Salmaan- Lal Jose team’s Oru Bhayankara Kamukan
We had earlier reported that Dulquer Salmaan will be teaming with director Lal Jose for an upcoming movie titled as Oru Bhayankara Kamukan. The movie is scripted by Unni R.
Shoot for the movie was initially planned to start by February. However, the movie’s producer Shebin Backer has now informed Onlookers Media that the shoot has been postponed to August, owing to Dulquer Salmaan’s busy schedule. The actor recently completed his portions for Soubin Shahir’s debut directorial Parava. He is playing a cameo role in the movie.
Dulquer will next join the second schedule of Bejoy Nambiar’s Solo, a bilingual made in Malayalam and Tamil. He is also awaiting the release of his highly expected movie Comrade In America aka CIA, directed by Amal Neerad.
Dulquer will be seen as a naadan guy in Lal Jose’s Oru Bhayankara Kamukan. He will be seen in a lungi clad naadan guy-next-door character. Reportedly, the movie is set in a small town near a forest. Dulquer will be playing a resident of that village. Casting for the movie has not yet been completed.
Dulquer has always been comfortable doing the sophisticated rich guy or a gangster. But of late, he has deliberately tried to move away from being stereotyped. He played an angry young man in Kali, a free spirited vagabond in Charlie. In Kammatipaadam he played the role of an aged gangster. In Amal Neerad’s CIA he is playing the role of a Pala based younger who travels to US to meet his girlfriend.
Oru Bhayankara Kamukan marks the actor’s second time teaming up with Lal Jose after the superhit movie Vikramadithyan, which was released in 2014. Unni R has also worked with Dulquer previously in Charlie and Kullante Bharya, in the anthology 5 Sundharikal.
