Siju Wilson and wife Sruthi welcome their baby girl
Actor Siju Wilson, well-known for his roles in films like ‘Neram’, ‘Premam’ and ‘Happy Wedding’, has been blessed with a baby girl. His Sruthi gave birth to the baby girl on May 17 in Mumbai. He shared the happy news with his followers in social media by sharing a photo taken with Sruthi during the baby shower party.
Siju Wilson made his acting debut by playing a blink-a-miss role in Vineeth Sreenivasan’s ‘Malarvadi Arts Club’. He first made an impression with the Alphonse Puthren films ‘Neram’ and ‘Premam’. The Omar Lulu directorial ‘Happy Wedding’ earned Siju his first solo hit.
Last year, Siju turned a producer with ‘Vasanthi’ starring Swasika Vijay. The film directed by Rahman brothers, Shinos & Sajas, premiered at the 2021 International Film Festival of Kerala. It also won three honours at the 50th Kerala State Film Awards 2020, including the award for Best Film.
Siju is currently working on ‘Pathonpathaam Noottandu’, the biggest project in his career till date. Directed by Vinayan, it is an epic-period drama made on a huge scale. Siju plays the lead role of Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, a brave Ezhava chieftain who lived in the 19th century. The film tells the untold story of Arattupuzha Velayudha Panicker, who was the first martyr of the Kerala Renaissance movement. Siju had trained hard for playing the character by building a bulky, warrior-like physique besides training in horse riding and Kalaripayattu.
