Famous actress Tabu who very popular all over India for her roles in various Indian languages is very familiar to Malayalam movie lovers as well with the movie Kalapani conceived by Priyadarshan and in which he played the female lead opposite The complete actor of Inidian cinema Mr. Mohanlal and Malayali’s own Lalettan. In the flick Kalapani tabu’s very innocent role named Parvathy really stole the heart of the spectators and it will always remain in our heart for many more years to come as it was superb performance in a terrific film.
Tabu acted in some other mollywood films as well and right after Kalapani Tabu appeared in another Malayalam movie cover story which was written by B Unnikrishnan and Rakilipaattu which was conceived by Priyadarshan with Jyothika in the lead. After that recently she had appeared in a cameo role in Santhosh Sivan’s Urumi starring Prithviraj, Prabhu Deva and Arya. And a new report is coming now and if the reports are to be believed tabu will be sharing screen with our Mega star Mammootty in the upcoming flick which will be directed by Nithin Renji Panickar who is the son of actor/writer/ director named Renji Panicker who is very popular among malayalees with his firebrand films.
The above mentioned flick will be the debut movie of Nithin Renji Panicker and Mammootty will be doing the role of a police officer in this film and that too with some strange mannerisms which will be quite interesting to see. Mollywood Movie lovers have always loved Mammootty’s police characters especially the characters in films like August 1, Avanazhi etc and till now not much details of the movie is not revealed and it will come out soon.
Even though Tabu and Mammootty is coming together for the first time in mollywood, both of them had earlier shared screen together for the Tamil movie named ‘Kandu Kondein Kandu Kondein’ which was quite popular as well. It was a multi-starrer movie which had stars like Ajith, Aiswarya Rai, Abbas, Shyamili, Sreevidhya etc to play the lead characters. Tabu’s last flick was the great success Haider at Bollywood helmed by Vishal Bharadwaj.
