‘Take Off’ director Mahesh Narayanan’s next is with Dulquer Salmaan!
Editor-turned-filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan’s directorial debut ‘Take Off’ is widely rated as one of the finest Malayalam movies in recent years. The movie starring Parvathy, Kunchako Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali in major roles emerged as a huge critical and commercial success. It also won several awards at the state and national level. Director Mahesh Narayanan won a special jury award while Parvathy won the award for best female actor at the prestigious International Film Festival of India.
After a year now, Mahesh Narayanan is planning to wear the director’s hat once again. If latest reports are to be believed, the director’s next will be with Dulquer Salmaan. Initial talks are on and they are planning to go on floors by next year. More details regarding the project is not yet known but the star’s fans are already excited about it.
Dulquer, who lately has been busy with Tamil and Hindi films, is now set to make a comeback to Malayalam cinema. He has committed for a movie with debutant director BC Noufal which is being scripted by Bibin George and Vishnu Unnikrishnan. The ‘Charlie’ actor is also in talks for a mass entertainer to be scripted by Midhun Manuel Thomas of ‘Aadu’ fame.
Dulquer is currently busy with the final leg of shoot of his Tamil movie – ‘Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithaal’. He also has a romantic travelogeue ‘Vaan’ with debutant Ra Karthik coming up in Tamil. His maiden Hindi film, ‘Karwaan’ is gearing up for release on August 3rd. He has also been signed to play the lead along with Sonam Kapoor in the big screen adaptation of best selling novel, ‘The Zoya Factor.
