Tamil star Sathish in Dulquer Salmaan’s Solo
A recent buzz that has kissed both the Mollywood and Kollywood industry is that actor Sathish has joined the sets of Dulquer Salmaan – Bejoy Nambiar team’s bilingual movie Solo. The actor had recently put up an update on Facebook informing his joining with the crew.
It read: “On way to Cochin for DulQuer Salman bro’s Tamil Malayalam bilingual movie directed by one of my fav Dir Bejoy Nambiar. God & cinema fans bless us”
The actor who had debuted through CS Amudhan’s Tamil Padam in 2010 had done a handful of amazing roles in the industry. His breakthrough was Ethir Neechal released in 2013 where he played alongside Sivakartikeyan. He had later attained special mentions for the roles portrayed in Maan Karate, Kaththi and Remo. He happens to be the cousin of Santhanam, who is another promising star in the industry.
Dulquer Salmaan starer Solo is said to be a romantic drama which is shot both in Malayalam and Tamil simultaneously. The Bejoy Nambiar penned directorial is funded by himself along with Abraham Mathew. The shoot had commenced by late 2016 and will be ready for release by mid 2017. The film which mostly stars newcomers have roped in Ann Augustine, Anson Paul and Manoj K Jayan to play pivotal characters.
