Varane Avashyamund director Anoop Sathyan shares a nostalgic little note about Mohanlal

Sathyan Anthikad’s son Anoop Sathyan has made a successful start in the industry by delivering a superhit with his very first film itself. His directorial debut ‘Varane Avashyamund’ has been received well, particularly by the family audience. Superstar Mohanlal recently got to watch the film and he apparently loved it. Anoop, who has nostalgic memories of Mohanlal and his father Sathayan Anthikad, has shared a sweet note on his Facebook profile. He shared an interesting incident from his childhood and connected if Mohanlal calling him to appreciate for his maiden film. The post reads,

Cut to- 1993, Anthikad:
I was in 3rd standard, had some intellectual conflict with Achan and decided to leave the house to live with ‘Mohanlal’ (I was his ‘propeller’ then). Achan found it funny, called him up right away, handed over the receiver to me and said, “Mohanlal wants to talk to you!”
I was not matured enough to handle the situation and so, I giggled☺
I still remember, how he was laughing then!
.
Cut to – 2020, Today, Somewhere near Anthikad, I just pulled over the car:
We spoke over the phone! He said he loved the film.
And I giggled ☺
His laughter is still the same 😍

‘Varane Avashyamund’ had a lot of expectations prior to release itself. Its dream star cast comprising of Suresh Gopi, Shobana, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Dulquer Salmaan was the prime reason for the hype. It was also Dulquer Salmaan’s maiden production venture. The film eventually managed to please majority of the theatre-growing crowd, which includes youngsters as well as the families.
