Actor Jayasurya had already came a long way as an actor from the time he had made his debut in Mollywood. Now he is not only a star but also considered as one of the best actors in younger generation of Malayalam cinema. The commitment this actor shows towards his profession is amazing and he is known for his makeovers for each and every character he does now-a-days. He is already counted among a prominent actor in Mollywood but Jayasurya has a dream.
Jayasurya says rather than a star he wants be known as a good actor or a brilliant actor. He had a desire that in the future when people discuss about Malayalam cinema specially outside Kerala, his name has to be mentioned along with the best actors Malayalam cinema had. Jayasurya expressed his dream in an interview to manorama online. He says that he always took films seriously and now a days more serious about what he is doing. He is already dropped 5 big projects and waiting for the right one to choose as he had faced some debacles. He always chooses characters which have the scope to challenge his acting skill and always want to do such characters as well.
His quest for such characters made him do Appothikkiri, Iyyobinte Pusthakam, Kumbasaram etc. In his two upcoming films as well he had done something very unique. In Nadirsha directorial film Amar Akbar Anthony he had done the character of Akbar who has problem with his legs or a handicapped sort of character. And in Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam directed by Ranjith Sankar, Jayasurya is doing a character who has the problem of stammering. Jayasurya says that he had really put in great effort both mentally and physically to do both roles and when it comes to Sudhi in Renjith Sankar film it was really an uphill task as an actor. And he feels that he had done justice to both roles and is all satisfied by his performance in both the films.
This man is really going to scale great heights as he had the determination and right frame of mind to do it. As Jayasurya said he had no godfathers in the industry. So if he falls, he has only himself but none to use as a support. So he will be focused and disciplined.
