Why did Dulquer Salmaan marry before entering the film industry?
Dulquer Salmaan is busy enjoying the fresh phase of fatherhood. The actor became a proud father to a baby girl recently. His wife Amaal Sufiya gave birth to their little angel on May 5.
Unlike other celebrity kids, Dulquer Salmaan got married before making his entry to the film industry. He got married to Amaal Sufiya, an architect in 2011. He entered the film industry next year with the movie Second Show. But why did Dulquer chose that why?
Here’s what his father Mammootty had to say. “I got married before entering the film industry. After completing my graduation, I got married and then tried my hand in movies. Cinema is a world of fantasies. Those who consider cinema as a profession, take it quite seriously. My life taught me that a married person will be more responsible, so I asked Dulquer if he is ready for marriage. He agreed and one year later he made his debut in movies. Thereafter, he approached cinema very seriously. Presently, he is a very happy person.”
Dulquer and Amaal have couple have named their daughter as Maryam Ameerah Salmaan. On the work front, his last release CIA aka Comrade In America has become commercially successful, raking in over Rs 15 crores from the Kerala box office alone.
