Why Maniyanpillai Raju opted out from the production of Dulquer film Love in Anjengo ?
Maniyanpillai Raju is one of the most successful producer in Malayalam cinema apart from being a successful actor. He had produced most of his films with Mohanlal in the lead and had given many super successes as well. His last production venture was with Prithviraj. It was released this year January titled as Pavada, directed by Marthandan. It was a super hit film of this year.
Later the news came that Maniyan Pillai Raju is all set to produce the Dulquar Salman-Pratap Pothen film named Love in Anjengo scripted by Anjali Menon. But now it is official that he had opted out from the production side of that project and now it will be produced by Pratap Pothen’s own Supriya Films in association with Rejaputhra visual media.

Maniyanpillai Raju had pulled out from the project because of the big budget of the movie. The film will have an estimated budget around 9 crore rupees and for Maniyan Pillai Raju, it is a big risk spending that much money. Apart from Dulquer Salmaan, there is news that Kollywood actor Madhavan also may play an extended cameo in this movie. Kollywood actress Dhansika is playing the female lead in it and the DOP of the film will be Rajeev Menon.
As per reports, the flick will start shoot in the coming June or July. The last film came under the banner named Supriya is a Tamil film in the year 1993, titled Athma. Prathap Pothen’s last Malayalam movie was Oru Yathramozhi starred by Mohanlal and Sivaji Ganeshan, which released long years back. It is a film still loved by Malayalees.
