Sukhamano Daveede is an upcoming movie starring Guppy fame Chethan Lal and Bhagath Manuel in the lead roles. Eventhough Guppy could not reap commercial success, it was one of the most acclaimed movies of 2016. The movie also won Chethan Lal the Kerala State Award for best child actor.

Sukhamano Daveede will have Chethan Lal and noted young actor Bhagath Manuel in the lead roles. Sources close to the unit inform that the movie will be one of the best in Bhagath Manuel’s career.

Krishna Poojappura has written the screenplay and dialogues. Sukhamano Daveede will be directed by debutants Anup Chandran and Raj Mohan. Priyanka Nair known for her roles in movies like Jalam and Ivdem Swargamanu is playing the role of a teacher in this movie.

The movie funded by Tomy Kiriyanthan under the banner Pappi Creations will start rolling in Thodupuzha this month.

Everybody is now eagerly waiting for the release of Baahubali-The Conclusion, which will hit the screens on the 28th April this year. The craze and hype around the film is going sky high and now the first part of this movie is re-releasing all around India. In Kerala too, re-release of the first part of Baahubali is happening and it will be re-releasing on this coming Friday, at Thodupuzha Ashirvad Cineplex 4K 3D Dolby Atmos.

This theater had 4 screens there and it is owned by Antony Perumbavoor and actor Mohanlal. The first show of Baahubali- The Beginning will take place at 6.30 PM in the evening on Friday. They will continue showing the film for a few days from Friday. Every day, the film will be showed on 6.30 PM in the evening.

It is going to be a fantastic experience for the viewers to watch this gigantic visual spectacle again and that too on a 4K Dolby Atmos screen. It will be terrific to say the least.

1971 Beyond Borders is all set for a huge release on the 7th April and this Mohanlal starrer is already started breaking records and creating new milestones in Mollywood. Mohanlal is looking forward to give his 4th blockbuster in a row after Oppam, Puli Murugan and Munthiri Vallikal Thalirkumbol.

Along with Mohanlal, Telugu Actor Allu Sirish and Bollywood Actor Arunoday Singh is also playing important characters in this movie. Allu Sirish is the younger brother of Tollywood Super Star Allu Arjun and he had high hopes on this movie as well. He said that it was an honor and privilege to share screen space with Mohanlal, who is one among the greatest actors in our country.

He said that he heard a lot about Mohanlal from his brother Allu Arjun, who is a great fan of Mohanlal. Allu Sireesh said that everybody calls Mohanlal a magical actor and he too witnessed that magic of Mohanlal while he was working with him in 1971 Beyond Borders. It was stunning and amazing to say the very least. Allu Sirish said that Mohanlal is the most humble person he ever met in his life and the way he took care of him and made him feel comfortable was just amazing. Allu Sirish said that this movie will be regarded as one of the best ever war dramas made in Indian Cinema.

Take Off, the debut directorial venture of popular editor Mahesh Narayanan, had hit the screens all over on the 24th March this year. From the very first show itself, the flick had got great reviews from everywhere. Common audience and critics alike loved the movie and called it as one of the best ever technically perfect film made in Mollywood. It was said to be a movie that raised the standard of Mollywood on par with Bollywood or may be above that. We saw many popular figures praising the movie. Mohanlal, Mammootty etc came out appreciating the movie and we saw Tamil Actor Suriya doing the same as well. Now, Universal Hero Kamal Haasan also came out appreciating the flick.

He said that he loved the flick and it was very well made. The noble reason behind making this movie is also commendable, says Kamal Haasan This movie has been made as a tribute to Late Director Rajesh Pillai. Anto Joseph and Shebin Bucker had bankrolled this project under the banner Rajesh Pillai films. Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, the daughter of popular Kollywood Actor Sarath Kumar, is one among the most talented and popular actresses in Kollywood. She had made her debut here in Malayalam, through the Mammootty starrer named Kasaba last year, which was directed by debutant Nithin Renji Panicker. She had got great appreciation as well for her performance in it as a character which had some negative shades. Now, a report is coming in that Varalakshmi is coming back to Malayalam in this year by playing the female lead of Mega Star once again.

As per reports, she has been roped in to play the female lead of Mammootty in Ajay Vasudeva directorial movie, which will start filming this month. The filming will start from April 17th this year, at Kollam. This upcoming movie will be the second film of Ajay Vasudev, who had made his debut in 2014 with Rajadhiraja starred by Mammootty. This upcoming project from Mammootty- Ajay Vasudev team will be written by Uday Krishna and Young Star Unni Mukundan said to be playing an important character in this movie as well.

Apart from Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar, actress Mahima Nambiar will also play an important female lead character in this movie. Mammootty said to be playing a College Lecturer in this flick.

1971 Beyond Borders to hit record number of screens in Kerala

If the reports coming in are to be believed, then 1971 Beyond Borders, the Mohanlal starrer war drama written and directed by Major Ravi, will get a record release here in Kerala and also outside Kerala. The reports coming in from the industry says that 1971 Beyond Borders will release in more than 200 screens here.

The current record holder in Mollywood is Mohanlal’s Pulimurugan which was released in 214 screens. The second best was Mammootty starrer The Great Father which had got around 180+ screens. 1971 Beyond Borders will have a huge release in the rest of India market as well and that too will become a new history in Mollywood.

There will be Tamil, Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions for this movie and these versions will be released after the Malayalam release on the 7th April.

The UAE/GCC release of the movie will be after two weeks from the day of Kerala release. It will also have record number of fans shows as well here in Kerala. Reports suggests that there will be 100+ fan shows in Kerala for this movie and many of them had already sold out.

Apart from Mohanlal, Telugu actor Allu Sirish and Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh is playing important characters in this movie produced by Haneef Mohammad.

Editor Mahesh Narayanan’s directorial debut Take Off has entered it’s second week of theatrical run and is continuing it’s glorious run in all the release centres. The movie starring Parvathy Menon, Kunchako Boban, Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali in major roles was opened to overwhelmingly positive reports.

The movie is inspired from real life incidents where a group of Malayali nurses were trapped in the Tikrit region in Iraq during the ISIS attacks in 2014. Take Off is a fictionalized account of the same. It is jointly written by Mahesh Narayanan and PV Shaji Kumar

The movie is rated by many as a landmark in Malayalam cinema. The visuals, setting and the total magnitude of the film was something that is unseen in a Malayalam movie.

Apart from being a true story and the brilliant technical values, another major asset of the movie was the marvellous performance of the lead actors. Fahadh Faasil who played the role of the Indian Ambassador, in a recent interview shared his views on the performance of all the actors.

He said, “Kunchako Boban’s character had a lot of depth and it was a layered one. Asif Ali delivered a very matured performance eventhough it was a very brief role. I am not one to rate Parvathy’s performance. Her transformation into the character is truly incredible.”

Parvathy was the soul of the movie. The whole movie revolves around her character Sameera. The fact that she played the protagonist in a movie that had three other leading actors from Mollywood itself proves how brilliant an actress she is. Parvathy was remarkable as the determined Sameera who bares the burden of her family debts and the helpless wife who is willing to go any extent to get back to her husband. Appreciation has been flowing in for her from all quarters.

Take Off, meanwhile has grossed 6.7 crores from the first week according to reports from trade sources. The movie was funded by Anto Joseph and Shebin Becker in association with Rajesh Pillai Films.

Popular actress Bhavana is back to her old self after going through a horrifying period. The actress put up a brave face and was willing to face the media and trial to make sure the miscreants don’t get away after committing such a gruesome mistake.

However, this is not the first time that the actress had to go through such a period. From the beginning of her career itself, she was a favourite in the gossip columns who linked her up in several rumours.

Bhavana in a recent interview to Vanitha, a popular woman’s magazine, opened up about her bitter experiences in the past. She entered the film industry at a tender age of 15 but that didn’t stop rumour mills from spreading gossips about her. The most repeated one among the lot was about her abortion.

In the interview she is quoted saying, “Every year there were atleast ten reports about my abortion and that I went to America, Aluva, Thrissur and all these places for abortion. Apart from that there will be reports about me having a relationship with some director. They didn’t even have a consideration that I was only 16 years old. Would they do the same against if it was someone from their own family.”

Bhavana admits that she has gone through a lot and her outspoken nature has resulted in many lost opportunities. But she is not willing to go down defeated.

The actress recently got engaged to her long time beau and Kannada producer Naveen. She recently wrapped up her portions for the first schedule of her upcoming Malayalam movie Adam Joan, starring Prithviraj in the title role. She is currently busy shooting for Tagaru, a Kannada movie starring Shivaraj Kumar in the lead.

Bhavana will also be essaying the female lead in the Telugu remake of superhit Malayalam movie Charlie, where she will be reprising Parvathy Menon’s from the original.
