Initially, Aashirvad Cinemas had reserved this date for the release of Mohanlal’s eagerly awaited directorial debut, “Barroz.” However, due to a change in the release plans of the South Indian blockbuster “Salaar,” “Barroz” was compelled to reschedule its release to the next summer. Consequently, Aashirvad Cinemas has now set its sights on releasing “Neru” on this date, despite it being a relatively smaller production.

“Neru,” a poignant courtroom drama, is scripted by Jeethu Joseph and Shanti Mayadevi, and filming for this project is nearing completion.
