Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has joined hands with Saudi Vellakka (2022) director Tharun Moorthy for an exciting new project titled Thudarum. The title was officially announced on November 8, alongside the release of the film’s first-look poster. The image captures Mohanlal in a heartwarming scene surrounded by schoolchildren in uniform, setting a warm and intriguing tone for the film.

Previously working under the title L360, Thudarum marks a special collaboration between Mohanlal and Shobana, who last shared the screen in Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded (2009). This highly-anticipated reunion has added extra excitement among fans. The film’s storyline is co-scripted by Tharun Moorthy and KR Sunil, promising a unique blend of storytelling with a compelling ensemble cast that includes Binu Pappu, Maniyanpilla Raju, Farhaan Faasil, and Aanandam actor Thomas Mathew.

Produced by M Renjith under Rejaputhra Visual Media, the film boasts a talented technical crew, featuring Shaji Kumar as cinematographer, Jakes Bejoy as composer, and Vishnu Govind in charge of sound design. With editing by the late Nishadh Yusuf and Shafeeque VB, Thudarum promises an engaging experience.
