Mumbai Taxi Review

Mumbai Taxi Review-Rating-Report

Mumbai Taxi was one of the releases of this Friday in Mollywood and it had come from another debutant director named Fazil Basheer. The flick had marketed as the film which marks the hero debut of Badusha who had become popular as a child artist in mollywood with the fazil directorial Mammootty starrer film named Pappayude Swantham Appoos in which he played the character of the dying son of the character played by Mammootty. The flick has other popular Mollywood actors like Tini Tom, Sreejith Ravi, Sunil Sugatha etc and came to the theaters touted as a thriller type film. Riyaaz Fazan is the financer of this film who produced the flick under the production house named Media Mission Productions.

The flick tells the story based on a terror attack threat received by the Anti-Terrorist squad and they only have limited time of less than one day to make that mission a failure. They also got the photo of the terrorist who is going to execute the terror attack mission. The flick tells how the Anti-Terrorist squad goes about in search of the terrorist who is by the way travelling in a Mumbai taxi the whole time.

We nothing in this film to say good about and at all parts it is a complete failure. May it be the direction or the screenplay of the flick. The performance of the actors also was too terrible to give anything for the film. The inexperience of the team of youngsters behind the film is very much evident in the narration of the story from start to right up to the very end. The end portion is somewhat better considered to the remaining parts. The suspense of the film lacks any depth and it is an easy pick for the ones who at least listen the dialogues of the film with some care. The occasional comedy numbers included in the film was really a waste of time and nothing does any better to the overall boring nature of the film.

Even actors like Sreejith Ravi looks terrible in this and the technical sides also very weak. From camera work to editing and then to music, all looked terribly out of sync with the film and the performance of the lead actor Badusha was pathetic as well. Fazil Basheer’s pointless direction and terrible screenplay joined with his terrible lack of imagination and novelty made it a complete disaster.

And we recommend you all that don’t go anyway near the cinema halls where this film is running and even going near the theater playing this film may make you a loser.
