Superhit Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ is being remade in Telugu with Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati as the leads. Saagar K Chandra, who has helmed films like ‘Ayyare’ and ‘Appatlo Okkadundevadu’, is directing the remake version, which is yet-to-be titled. Sithara Entertainments, one of the leading banners in Telugu industry, is producing the film.
A making video of the film has been released online. Pawan Kalyan’s majestic walk in the cop uniform is the highlight of this 51-second video. He plays a character named Bheemla Nayak. He is reprising the character done by Biju Menon in the original. Prithviraj’s character is essayed by Rana Daggubati.
‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ directed by Sachy is about a raging conflict fulled by a battle of egos between a policeman and a retired havildar. Hit filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas has adapted the Telugu version’s screenplay and dialogues. Ravi K Chandran is the cinematographer and Thaman S is composing the music.
