Excellent response for And The Oskar Goes To at its world premiere
Tovino Thomas’s new film ‘And The Oskar Goes To’ is getting ready for theatrical release later this month. Prior to that, the movie had its world premiere at the Indian Film Festival of Alberta in Canada. Last day, director Salim Ahamed shared photos from the premier in his official social media handle. He was also honoured by Amarjeet Sohi, MP and the Federal Minister of Natural Resources prior to the screening.The movie garnered excellent response in the film festival. Viewers were in appreciation of the fact that the film encompasses the journey of a passionate filmmaker and how it captures the life in India and America.
‘And The Oskar Goes To’ tells an inspiring story of a film taking its director to the Oscars. Tovino plays the role of a young, passionate filmmaker in this movie. The movie was scripted by the director himself after being inspired by the real lives of several filmmakers.
Tovino Thomas has pinned high hopes on the movie. According to him, it is an international film made in a completely commercial format. Along with him, the movie has a good set of supporting actors like Siddique, Anu Sithara, Lal, Sreenivasan, Salim Kumar, Zarina Wahab and Appani Sarath.
Veteran cinematographer Madhu Ambat, music director Bijibal and sound designer Resul Pookutty form the core technical crew. Allen Media is presenting the movie in association with Canadian Movie Corp. As informed by us earlier, the movie will be releasing on June 21, Friday.
