Rajisha Vijayan’s Kho Kho censored with U certificate
Rajisha Vijayan’s new film ‘Kho Kho’ has been censored with a clean U certificate. The film is written and directed by Rahul Riji Nair of ‘Ottamuri Velicham’ fame. The makers have announced that the film will only be releasing in theatres. This sports based flick has Rajisha playing a Kho Kho player. It is a traditional Indian sport, which is also played across South Asia and has a strong presence in South Africa and England.
Rajisha essays a character named Maria Francis. A bunch of original Kho Kho players are also part of the cast. The film is apparently set in two timelines and Rajisha will be seen both as a player and a coach. It is her second film as a sports person after last year’s ‘Finals’, in which she played a cyclist.
‘Kho Kho’ has cinematography by Tobin Thomas of ‘Stand Up’ fame and music by Sidhartha Pradeep. Editor-turned-filmmaker Appu Bhattathiri is the post-production supervisor and edits are being done by Christy Sebastian. The film is being produced under the banner of First Print Studios.
