The first look is really awesome that it really worth the waiting of film lovers and Vijay fans. The first look and the title itself shows us that this time we are in for something very different from usual Vijay films and it has something very special to offer to the film lovers. Everyone is very excited after seeing the first look and it has surely risen the hope and expectation on the film to sky high or may be even beyond that.
Puli is said to be the biggest film in Vijay’s whole career which has said to be made on a whopping budget over 120 crores as per sources from Kollywood. Vijay also got record remuneration for this flick which said to be above 20 crore rupees and he really proving time and again that he is in fact the most valuable star in South India. Vijay is now on a success ride as his last films are all box office successes. Even his film Thalaiva which is only an average grosser has generated positive opinion mostly but failed due to many political issues that surrounded the film at that time. His last films like Kaththi and Jilla were super successes which ran over 100 days in Kollywood with awesome returns.
Puli is helmed by Chimbudevan and it has a fabulous cast list which includes heroines like Sruthi Hasan and Hansika, actress like Sridevi Bony Kapoor and others like Kicha Sudeep and many more. Vijay is playing dual role in this flick of father and son and the film also has great importance to visual effects as well. The film had already created many records in its overseas right as well as distribution rights in various states in India even beating the records of Super star Rajinikanth films.
In Kerala it will be distributed by Shibu Thameens of the Thameens films who is one of the two production partners of the film as well. The film said to be releasing on September 17 as of now and the first look had come out today as a Birthday special celebration and gift to Ilaya thalapathy Vijay who is going celebrate his 41st birthday on june 22.
