Thala Ajith starrer flick named Vedalam had released all over yesterday. The flick directed by Siva after the success of Veeram which also had Ajith in lead role had opened to mixed reviews from viewers all over the globe. Even though there is opinion that the flick had not raised up to the expectations and follows the path of old wine in new bottle, Thala Ajith’s performance and screen presence has been getting great appreciation. Many people is of the opinion that it was only because of Ajith’s performance and the back ground scoring by Anirudh, the film falls in to the category of watchable one or a mass film which is one time watchable. But the shocking news which came today says that the pirated print of the film had already reached internet.

As per the reports, the pirated version of the film is found in a popular Tamil website. This particular website is infamous for such pirated print upload and we had already seen many instances of it as well. Last time we saw it in the case of Vijay’s Puli, Kamal Haasan’s Papanasham etc. The controversial Premam pirated copy was also found I this sight along with some other sites.
The shocking thing in these incidents is that the pirated version comes in their site on the very first day of the release of the film and that too in pretty good quality. The earlier reports said that the upload of the film has been taking place from outside India as Tamil films has a worldwide release on the same day as of its Indian release. Malayalam films usually don’t release in such a way. Its world wide release takes place after sometime of its Indian release. So it may be a bit easy to find out from where it is uploaded. But in the case of Tamil cinema it is too difficult to track the source.
Vedhalam started well at box office even after mixed reviews and that is only due to the Thala effect and Deewali Holidays. Now we have to wait and see how the film will fare after getting the mixed reviews and the piracy issue.
