I am very lucky to have shared screen space with a legend like Mohanlal: Allu Sirish
Mohanlal’s 1971 Beyond Borders, directed by Major Ravi is all set to hit screens tomorrow (April 7). The movie, produced by Haneef Muhammed is based on the 1971 Indo- Pak war.
1971 Beyond Borders also marks the Malayalam debut of Tollywood star Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Sirish. The actor is playing a pivotal role in the movie as a battle tank commander. Srushti Dange will be seen as his romantic interest.
Allu Sirish in a recent interview shared his working with Mohanlal.
He said, “I am fortunate to have acted alongside a legend like Mohanlal sir. He is one of the best actors in Indian cinema. I was very lucky to learn from watching him perform. He is the most humble person I have ever met in my life. The way he took care of me and made me feel comfortable was amazing. After the release, 1971 Beyond Borders will be regarded as one of the best ever war dramas made in Indian cinema”
1971 Beyond Borders is made as a pan Indian movie with a huge star cast. Bollywood actor Arunoday Singh, Srushti Dange, Priyanka Agarwal and Zoya Zayed Khan and many others will be seen in supporting roles.
Sujith Vassudev has handled the cinematography. Songs in the movie are composed by three music directors— Najim Arshad, Siddharth Vipin, and Rahul Subramanian. Background score is handled by Gopi Sunder.
