MT Vasudevan Nair had recently spoke to a news portal “I had penned Randamoozham after researching for a long span of 10 years. Many had earlier approached me asking to make it a film but it never stuck to a budget that our industry puts in. It could only be shot on a big scale and that was the main reason for the delay in the project. But Shrikumar has given me his word that the movie would be shot on an international scale, referring to all the technical aspects of the movie.”
The Mahabarata is being funded by business tycoon BR Shetty at a whopping budget of Rs 1000 crores. It is worth a mention that Mohanlal and director Shrikumar are also teaming up for a 3D movie Odiyan, which is all set to go on floors by May, this year.
