Allu Sirish, brother of popular Telugu star Allu Arjun recently made his Mollywood debut through Major Ravi’s war drama 1971 Beyond Borders. The actor in a recent interview shared about his admiration for Malayali youth stars Nivin Pauly and Dulquer Salmaan. Allu Sirish said, “Nivin Pauly is my favourite among the current generation of actors in Malayalam. I have watched some his movies like 1983, Neram, Premam and Bangalore Days. I wanted to watch Oru Vadakkan Selfie, but I will be watching it soon. Next time I will watch it (sic).”
He also talked about Dulquer Salmaan whom he rates as a very good actor. “I like Dulquer Salmaan’s movies. I have watched a lot of his films. I have seen Usthad Hotel, ABCD, Bangalore Days, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and OK Kanmani. I also want to watch his recent gangster film directed by Rajeev Ravi (Kammattipadam). I think he is a very good actor. I’ve been following his films from the beginning. I think he is a very good looking, well dressed and a very stylish actor“, said Allu Sirish.
It is really heartening to see a promising actor from another industry following Malayalam movies and our actors very keenly.
