Tamil remake of Charlie dropped?
After marking many a milestones from the Kerala Box Office we had earlier reports that Dulquer Salmaan starrer Charlie is all set to start filming it’s tamil version.
But unfortunately as of now the director who was supposed to visualize the tamil remake has dropped the idea. AL Vijay had clearly stated that at the moment he has delayed the project and it is not likely to happen soon.
Tamil star R Madhavan was asked to play Dulquer’s role in tamil. This is what AL Vijay had to say: “Currently I am focussing on Karu, my next project. Charlie’s remake is delayed as of now and is not likely to happen soon. Sai Pallavi would be marking her debut in tamil with a prominent role in the flick”
Karu which is funded by Lyca Productions was officially launched on Sunday. The shooting for the movie is likely to commence by the end of this month or early next month. Neerav Shah handles the camera and Anthony is in charge of the edits.
