Dulquer Salmaan in Mammootty’s 400th film?
Ever since Dulquer Salmaan became an established actor, there has been speculations about him teaming up with his father Mammootty for a movie. Every time the possibility of such a reunion is asked, both of them have said that it will happen at the right time comes.
Well, it seems like the right time has finally come. Talks within the industry suggest that Dulquer Salmaan will be a part of his father’s 400th film. Amal Neerad, Anwar Rasheed and Vysakh are the three directors being considered for this project. If this turns out to be true it will be one of the biggest collaborations ever in South Indian cinema.
Both Dulquer Salmaan and Mammootty are currently busy with a slew of projects in their kitty. Dulquer’s bilingual movie Solo is nearing completion. He will next join debutant Salam Bukhari’s mass entertainer. He has also committed for Lal Jose- Unni R team’s Oru Bhayankara Kamukan and a mass entertainer with Pulimurugan director Vysakh.
Mammootty on the other hand is shooting for Ajai Vasudev’s campus thriller titled as Masterpiece. He will next join the sets of ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith’s debut movie. 7th Day fame Shyam Dhar’s family entertainer and cinematographer Shamdat’s investigative thriller Streetlights are the other movies waiting in the pipeline.
