Music in Dulquer Salmaan’s Solo is handled by 11 different musicians!
Dulquer Salmaan’s Solo has been in the news ever since it was officially announced. The movie marks the South Indian debut of Bollywood filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar. This bilingual movie has a plethora of actors from industries across the country. And now the director has revealed that the music is being composed by a mix of 11 different musicians, which comprises of individuals as well as bands.
Prashanth Pillai, Gaurav Godkhindi, Sooraj Kurup, Brodha V, Abhinav Bhansal, Taal Atma, Sez and popular bands like Thaikkudam bridge, Masala Coffee, Agam and Filter Coffee are composing the various tracks in the movie.
A few photos of Dulquer Salmaan as a rock band musician were leaked from the sets of Solo. The actor is sporting a multiple looks in the film, including an army man’s. Reportedly, Solo is about the four elements – Earth, Fire, Water and Wind. The director has woven these elements into four stories with love and revenge as the premise.
Solo, which is a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam, has been in the making for over 6 months now. It was shot in multiple schedules as the movie has a huge star cast and the makers had to accommodate the dates accordingly.
The movie has an ensemble star cast that includes actors from various industries. Veteran actors Nasser and Suhasini are playing Dulquer’s father in the movie. Sheelu Abraham is playing a prominent role as his sister. Bollywood actor Dino Morea, Ann Augustine, Arti Venkatesh, Sai Dhansika, Deepti Sati, Marathi actress Sai Tamhankar, Sruthi Hariharan, Manoj K Jayan, Prakash Belawadi, Bengali filmmaker Quashiq Mukherjee, Sathish, Soubin Shahir, John Vijay and many others are part of the cast.
Abraham Mathew is producing this film under the banner of Abaam Movies. An official word regarding the release date is expected in the coming days.
