Manju Warrier thanks the audience for Udhaharanam Sujatha’s success
Manju Warrier’e latest outing Udhaharanam Sujatha continues to garner good response from all corners. With the success of Udhaharanam Sujatha, Manju has once again proven her acceptance among the family audience. Despite releasing in a tense atmosphere opposite Dileep’s Ramaleela, the Manju Warrier starrer has managed to do some good business.
The actress recently took to Facebook to express her heartfelt gratitude to the audience for accepting Udhaharanam Sujatha. She also took the occasion to remember all Sujathas of the society. The protagonist in this movie is actually a representative of the scores of women who work hard to look after their families.
Udhaharanam Sujatha, directed by debutant Phantom Praveen tells the story of Sujatha, a widow who has a 15-year-old daughter. She resides in a local colony and does odd jobs to raise her daughter. The movie showcases the struggles of a single mother in raising her teenage daughter.
Newcomer Anaswara, Mamta Mohandas, Nedumudi Venu, Alencier Ley Lopez, Sudhi Koppa and Joju George are also part of the cast. The movie is scripted jointly by Martin Prakkat and Anuraga Karikkin Vellam fame Naveen Bhaskar.
Senior cinematographer Madhu Neelakandan has cranked the camera and Mahesh Narayanan, who recently made his directorial debut with the widely acclaimed Take Off, is editing the movie. Gopi Sunder is handling the music department. Udhaharanam Sujatha is funded by The Scene, a new production house owned by noted actor Joju George and Martin Prakat.
