Mohanlal congratulates Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan for the success of Mahanati
Mahanati, the Telugu biopic on legendary actress Savitri continues to get rave reviews from all corners. The movie was released on May 9 to overwhelming response from the viewers. Social medias are abuzz with positive reviews about the movie. Filmmakers like SS Rajamouli, Vamsi Paidipally, Atlee and many others lauded director Nag Ashwin and his team for coming up with such a fine piece of cinema.
Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is the latest to congratulate team Mahanati for their success. He sounded happy for Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer, both of whose families are very close to Mohanlal. He tweeted,

Mahanati has Keerthy Suresh as Savitri while Dulquer Salmaan, in his Telugu debut, essayed the role of late actor Gemini Ganesan. Despite being new to the language, both the actors have come up with terrific performances. Critics as well as the common audience have been raving about their acts in the movie.
Mahanati follows Savitri’s life from the 1940s to 1980s. The story evolves as two journalists, played by Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda, set out to piece together the story of Savithri’s life. The cast also includes Naga Chaitanya, Shalini Pandey, Malavika Nair, Prakash Raj, Rajendra Prasad and Mohan Babu.
