Oru Kuprasidha Payyan entering third week of successful theatrical run
Tovino Thomas starrer ‘Oru Kuprasidha Payyan’ (OKP) continues its good run in theatres across Kerala. Releasing on November 9, the movie opened to largely positive reviews from the critics. After a slow start, theatres witnessed good occupancy in the next few weeks courtesy the positive word of mouth. General talk in social medias have also been on the positive side. This Friday, the movie will be successfully entering its third week of theatrical run. It is expected to continue in a good number of centres in the coming days and well.
Directed by Madhupal, the movie is a murder mystery based on some real life incidents. Nimisha Sajayan, Saranya Ponvannan, Anu Sithara and Nedumudi Venu play major roles in the movie. Scripted by Jeevan Job Thomas, the movie discusses about how a commoner gets wrongly framed in a criminal case. It is inspired from a real life incident where Jayesh, a hotel worker was wrongly arrested in a murder case.
The performances of Nimisha Sajayan and Tovino Thomas were widely praised. They have the maximum space to perform and both the actors did their parts well, especially the former. The elaborate supporting cast also includes Siddique, Sujith Sankar, Alencier Ley Lopez, Sudheer Karamana and Balu Varghese. Swetha Menon and Dileesh Pothan appear in cameo roles.
