Sivakarthikeyan pens a special song for Dhruv Vikram’s Adithya Varma
‘Adithya Varma’, the Tamil remake of ‘Arjun Reddy’ is gearing up for release on November 8. Vikram’s son Dhruv is making his acting debut by reprising the role done by Vijay Deverakonda in the original. Banita Sandhu of ‘October’ fame plays the female lead. Priya Anand is also there in an important role.
Gireesaaya, an erstwhile associate of Sandeep Vanga who had directed the original, ‘Arjun Reddy’, is helming the Tamil remake. On the technical front, Radhan is handling the music department and veteran Ravi K Chandran has cranked the camera.
Interestingly, Sivakarthikeyan has penned a song in the film. Vikram revealed this last day during the trailer launch of the film. The veteran also thanked Sivakarthikeyan for agreeing to do it over just a phone call. It must be noted that Sivakarthikeyan has penned the superhit songs ‘Kalyana Vayasu’ in ‘Kolamavu Kokila’ and ‘Gaanda Kannazhagi’ in ‘Namma Veettu Pillai’. In ‘Adithya Varma’, he has penned a track titled ‘Idhu Maayamo’, which is set to tunes by Radhaan.
