I admire Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil and Nivin Pauly: Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi Rao Hydari is winning Malayali hearts with her ethereal looks and poignant performance in the recently released ‘Sufiyum Sujathayum’. The film directed by Naranipuzha Shanavas is currently streaming on Amazon Prime. Being the first mainstream Malayalam film to be released directly in OTT platforms, expectations were quite high but the response so far has been mixed. Still, Aditi’s performance is getting unanimously positive feedback.
Interestingly, this is her second outing in Malayalam. Long back in 2006, she had made a cameo appearance in the Mammootty starrer ‘Prajapathi’. Aditi is a regular follower of Malayalam films. In a recent interview, she even talked about her admiration for young stars Dulquer Salmaan, Fahadh Faasil, Nivin Pauly and Parvathy. When asked to pick one favorite Malayalam film, Aditi said that it would be tough as she likes different films for different reasons.
It is also worth a mention that Aditi is working with Dulquer Salmaan. Shoot for their Tamil film ‘Hey Sinamika’ had just begun when the lockdown was announced. Kajal Aggarwal is also part of the film, which marks the directorial debut of dance choreographer Brinda.
