Rahman visits AR Rahman and Mohanlal at Aarattu sets
Mohanlal and AR Rahman had recently shot together for an important sequence in the upcoming film ‘Aarattu’. The film directed by B Unnikrishnan has AR Rahman appearing in a cameo role. Since the maestro is usually hesitant to act, the makers had to put in a lot of efforts to convince him to take up the role. He will be making a brief appearance as himself in a crucial scene in the film. Shoot was held last week at his studio in Chennai.

Mohanlal and Rahman have acted together in films like ‘Mahha Samudram’, ‘Rock & Roll’, ‘Kariyilakkattupole’ etc. The latter is also close to composer AR Rahman. His wife Meherunnisa is the sister of music director ARR’s wife Saira Banu.
