Thalapathy 66 is Varisu; Check out the second look
Actor Vijay is celebrating his birthday today. Last day, on his birthday eve, the makers of his next with Vamshi Paidipally shared the title and first look. The film, which was tentatively titled Thalapathy 66, has now been officially titled as Varisu. A second look poster has just been unveiled. It has Vijay travelling on the back of a lorry along with a bunch of kids. The makers are also planning to release a third poster by today evening.
‘Varisu’ is touted to be a family-based mass entertainer. Rashmika Mandanna is paired with Vijay in the film. Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Khusboo, Sangeetha, Shaam and Jayasudha will be seen in other prominent roles.

Vamshi Paidipally has scripted the film with Hari and Ahishor Solomon. It is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations. Karthik Palani is the cinematographer and edits will be handled by Praveen KL.
‘Varisu’ is set to hit screens for Pongal 2023.
