Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince censored; All set for Deepavali release
Sivakarthikeyan-starrer ‘Prince’ got censored with a U certificate last day. The makers shared the update along with revealing the runtime — 2.23 hours. With the censoring done, the film is now all set for a grand Deepavali release on October 21. It will be competing with Karthi’s ‘Sardar’ at the Tamil Nadu box office.
‘Prince’ is directed by Telugu filmmaker Anudeep KV of ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame. The film, which has been planned as a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, promises to be an out and out fun entertainer. The recently released trailer promises a lot of humour. Its story is about about Sivakarthikeyan’s school teacher character falling in love with his colleague, a British woman. Ukrainian actress Maria Ryaboshapka is the paired with Sivakarthikeyan in the film. Sathyaraj and Premgi are essaying other prominent roles.
‘Prince’ is produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, Suresh Productions and Shanthi Talkies. The film has music by Thaman and cinematography by Manoj Paramahamsa.
