After Varathan, Sharafudheen to play one of the leads in AK Sajan’s next!
Sharafudheen is currently on a high with the unanimous praise that has been coming for his performance in ‘Varathan’. The Fahadh Faasil starrer has Sharaf in a negative role for the first time in his career. As the menacing womanizer Pappali Josey, the actor has given his career best. Critics and common audience have showered appreciation on the actor and it is expected to be a turning point in his career.
Post Varathan, Sharafudheen is now shooting for director AK Sajan’s new film. The movie is said to be a triangular love story and has Sharafudheen, Siju Wilson and Anu Sithara playing the lead roles. Shoot for the movie commenced recently in Kozhikode. Siyad Koker is producing this yet to be titled movie under the banner of Koker’s Films.
AK Sajan is well known for his brand of crime thrillers and this is his first attempt in directing a light hearted entertainer. All the three lead actors have worked together before in ‘Happy Wedding’ and so their rapport will be good. Siju Wilson and Sharafudheen are close friends in real-life and have also worked together in ‘Premam’, ‘Happy Wedding’, ‘Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela’ and ‘Aadhi’.
