Ace filmmaker Priyadarshan’s ambitious film ‘Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham’ is getting ready for a grand release in March. The makers have started the first round of promotions. After the releasing the first character poster featuring Keerthy Suresh, a new poster has been shared online. Mohanlal, who plays Kunjali Marakkar IV, is seen fighting a white soldier.
‘Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham’ is an epic period film based on the life of Kunjali Marakkar IV. Priyadarshan has penned the screenplay jointly with Ani IV Sasi. National award winning cinematographers Tirru and Sabu Cyril are part of the technical team.

The film’s cast includes actors from across the country like Suniel Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Manju Warrier, Ashok Selvan, Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Prabhu, Mukesh, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Fazil, Siddique, Baburaj, Nedumudi Venu, Hareesh Perady, Nandu, Innocent, Ganesh Kumar and Suresh Kumar. Several foreign actors are also part of the country.
Aashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group and Moonshot Entertainment are jointly producing this mega budget film. The makers have announced that the film will be releasing worldwide in a whopping 5000 theatres on March 26. Besides the original version, Malayalam, the film will also be releasing in 4 other regional languages.
