Dulquer is sad at the release of OK Kanmani-Tamil movie 2015-Mani Ratnam-AR Rahman-Dulquer Salmaan-Onlookers Media

The most awaited soundtracks of the year was released and it was the songs of OK Kanmani which was directed by Mani Ratnam and the music was given by A R Rahman. Vairamuthu penned the lyrics for the songs in this film and P C sreeram cranked the camera.  Mollywood actor Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menon had played the lead roles in this Mani Ratnam Romantic film and the film will hit the screens on April 17th according to the latest news.

The teaser and trailer of the film had already made waves in social networking sites and YouTube. At the event in Chennai which is organized by the movie team to thank the public for the great response they had given to the songs and trailer of the film the movie crew members like Mani Ratnam the director, P C Sreeram the DOP, A R Rahman the music composer, Vairamuthu the lyricist, Dulquer Salmaan and Leela Samson the actors took part and shared their memories and hopes about the film.

Vairamuthu described to the media how it happened to be A R Rahman and Mani Ratnam turned lyricist for the song “Mental Manadhil..” while he was the official lyricist of the film. He told it in a humourus way. A R Rahman said that he has the same energy and enthusiasm for composing music which he had when he started his career. That may be the reason that he is still successful in creating fresh music.

Dulquer Salmaan said that he was living a dream while he was working in this film and he told that he was actually very sad that this film is going to release which eventually woke him up from the dream which he is living for these days. Mani Ratnam as usual thanked everyone who worked in this film and he specially thanked Leela Samson who agreed to act in this film accepting his request and he said that leela had done a great job. Leela Samson also thanked Mani ratnam for giving her such a great chance and making her learn the art of acting. P C Sreeram is soft spoken and he also thanked everyone for being part of that event.
