Dulquer Salmaan-Rosshan Andrrews film to start rolling next month
Dulquer Salmaan is teaming up with director Rosshan Andrrews for a new cop film. The makers are planning to start shooting by the end of January. Pre-production works including location scouting have been underway for the past couple of months. Dulquer’s own production house Wayfarer Films is producing the film.
Bobby-Sanjay is scripting the film, which is rumoured to be titled as ‘Salute’. Though Dulquer had appeared as a cop briefly in ‘Vikramadithyan’, this is first time he is playing a full-fledged police officer’s role. So expectations are high among the fans.
Moreover, Roshan Andrrews-Bobby Sanjay combo’s last cop film ‘Mumbai Police’ was an acclaimed work that broke multiple stereotypes. Naturally, cinephiles are expecting this Dulquer film also to be different from the usual cop flicks.
Dulquer meanwhile has finished shooting for his Tamil film ‘Hey Sinamika’. Dance choreographer Brinda is making her directorial debut with this film, which is touted to be a rom-com. Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal also star in it.
